A card wallet, made by hand from Italian horsehide: Rocado Shell Cordovan.

It is one of the rarest and finest natural leathers in the world, cut from the shell — a dense, singular layer of fibre and cartilage lying at the back of a horsehide.

It is exceptionally hard-wearing, smooth to the hand, and deeply, richly glossed. In use it does not crease into the small wrinkles other leathers take on; it ripples instead, in waves of its own.

Best of all, shell cordovan grows more beautiful over the years, drawing a patina that gives every piece a character of its own.
